Grupo Desencanto presents the parade “From the scream to the silence”, celebrating popular culture and enlivening Carnival in Trindade – Municipality of Trindade

Celebration of popular knowledge and collective memory reaffirms the identity and carnival tradition of the municipality. Mayor Marden thanks Governor Ronaldo Caiado and the coordinator of Goiás Social, First Lady Gracinha Caiado, for their support. State Representative Cristiano Galindo and Secretary Warley Lopes highlight partnerships and the impact on tourism.
The Desencanto Group held the Carnival parade in Trindade on Sunday (February 15th), with the theme “From the scream to the silence”, in a night celebrating popular culture. The event brought together residents and visitors in a spectacle marked by colors, creativity, costumes, floats and lots of joy.
The parade highlighted the importance of popular knowledge, traditions, and the collective memory of the Brazilian people, valuing cultural expressions that transcend generations. With thematic sections and vibrant performances, the Desencanto Group moved the audience and reinforced the role of Carnival as an artistic manifestation and cultural identity of the city.
Mayor Marden expressed his gratitude for the support of Governor Ronaldo Caiado and the coordinator of Goiás Social, First Lady Gracinha Caiado, through the State Secretariats for Economic Recovery and Culture. According to him, the partnership was fundamental for the realization of the parade and for strengthening cultural activities in Trindade.
State Representative Cristiano Galindo also praised the presentation and stated that he was very happy with the partnerships established between the Desencanto Group, the municipality of Trindade, and the Government of Goiás, highlighting the united efforts to value local culture.
The Municipal Secretary of Culture and Tourism, Warley Lopes, praised the work done by the group and emphasized the importance of the parade for strengthening the culture of Trindade. He stated that the initiative keeps traditions alive and stimulates cultural tourism in the city.
Among the visitors, tourist Dona Elizabeth, from Pouso Alegre, expressed her delight with the show. “I thought it was wonderful, very beautiful and well-organized. I will definitely return in the coming years,” she stated.
The Grupo Desencanto parade reaffirmed the municipal administration’s commitment to valuing culture, encouraging artistic expression, and strengthening institutional partnerships, promoting a Carnival that combines tradition, joy, and aesthetic affirmation in Trindade.
