Mayor Marden Júnior signs service order for renovation of sports court, locker rooms, and community center with an investment of R$ 105,000.
The Municipality of Trindade confirmed the revitalization of the sports court, changing rooms, and community center in the Sol Dourado sector. Mayor Marden Júnior signed the service order authorizing the start of the works this Saturday (February 21st). The initiative addresses a demand presented by residents of the central region of the municipality.
The investment, totaling R$ 105,000, will be carried out using the municipality’s own resources and an amendment from state representative Cristiano Galindo. The project aims to expand leisure options, strengthen community life, and promote quality of life for residents of the neighborhood and the surrounding area.
Marden Júnior emphasized that he personally listened to the residents before formalizing the authorization. “I visited the residents, and what they asked for most was the renovation of this sports court, which is part of the history of the neighborhood and of many residents,” he stated. He then added: “As mayor, I am here to listen to the demands of the population, seek resources, and execute the work.”
A long-time resident of the Sol Dourado neighborhood, Dona Maria, known as Dona Mariazinha, emphasized the importance of the initiative for the community. “This project will bring life back to our neighborhood. Having our children playing here again is a long-held dream of the residents. I am very happy. The mayor granted our request,” she declared.
The municipal secretary of Infrastructure, Gustavo Queiroz, emphasized the social impact of the initiative. “Under Mayor Marden’s administration, we have worked to revitalize squares, sports courts, and public spaces in order to bring quality of life to the entire population of Trindade,” he stated.
Resident Layz Danielly also celebrated the announcement. “I love physical activity, I encourage my children, and this renovation will be excellent. May everyone have access to it,” she said.
State Representative Cristiano Galindo participated in the signing of the service order and highlighted the symbolism of the revitalization. “As a resident of Trindade, I am proud to see this sports court being revitalized. In my childhood, I played a lot of soccer here, and I want other young people to have the same opportunity. I congratulate Mayor Marden for listening to the demands of the population,” he stated.
