The Secretary of State for Education of Goiás, Fátima Gaviolle, officially delivered the Bolsa Estudo program cards to high school students in the state education network in the municipality of Trindade this Friday (February 20th). The event took place at the Padre Pelágio State School.
The benefit consists of monthly financial aid of R$ 130 for students in regular schools and R$ 150 for students enrolled in full-time schools. The initiative’s main objective is to encourage young people to stay in school, reduce dropout rates, and contribute to civic education, as well as promote basic financial literacy from an early age.
This action represents an investment in the students’ future, guaranteeing better conditions for dedication to their studies and conscious resource planning. The program also reinforces the State Government’s commitment to valuing public education and providing direct support to students’ families.
The event was attended by the Municipal Secretary of Education, Sérgio Sanches, and the Municipal Secretary of Social Assistance, Rouane Azevedo, who represented Mayor Marden Júnior. Also present was State Representative Cristiano Galindo, responsible for allocating over R$ 14 million in resources for education in the municipality of Trindade.
This initiative reinforces the importance of the partnership between the Government of the State of Goiás and the Municipality of Trindade, demonstrating that the union of efforts between public entities is fundamental for the growth and strengthening of local education.
Through programs like Bolsa Estudo, the government invests not only in the present but also in the future of young people from Trindade, expanding opportunities, promoting social inclusion, and fostering educational development for the entire community.
