Mayor Marden Júnior received the Municipal Secretary of Education, Sérgio Sanches, and State Representative Cristiano Galindo this Wednesday (January 21st) to discuss the start of the school year in the municipal education network, which is currently in the preparation phase.
During the meeting, the secretary presented the financial report regarding the school kits that will be delivered to all students in the municipal school system. The materials include backpacks, notebooks, uniforms, tempera paint, pencils, erasers, and other essential items for the development of educational activities.
On that occasion, the mayor highlighted the allocation of another parliamentary amendment from Representative Cristiano Galindo, responsible for enabling the purchase of the school kits. The initiative reaffirms the municipal administration’s commitment to strengthening public education and valuing students.
It has been decided that, starting next week, the distribution of school kits to all students in the municipal school system will begin, ensuring better structural conditions and equity for the start of the school year.
